2011 Defined Benefit Administration Survey

In December 2010, PLANSPONSOR published its first annual Defined Benefit (DB) Administration Survey. The survey showcased the experience and capabilities of leading providers of DB administration, with a focus on size and scope of business, types of clients and plans served, and product/service offerings. All data for that survey were as of June 30, 2010. Since then, most of the original 28 respondents to the survey have published year-end 2010 data, which are summarized on the pages that follow. While many of the trends observed in the original analysis still hold true, a few additional findings became evident in this update.
