BMO Enhances Research Offerings

January 30, 2012 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - BMO InvestorLine’s added to the mutual fund research offerings for its Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP).  

The addition will help clients generate new investment ideas and identify top-performing mutual funds. BMO’s mutual fund research combines Morningstar’s daily mutual fund information with features that include unbiased analysis, analyst insight articles, top and bottom fund performers and fund reports.

The new resources include:

•  Screening tools - The Fund Screener and Fund Quickrank tools allow investors to construct customized searches to narrow down choices of funds, while also showing investment opportunities;

•  Interactive Morningstar Quicktake Reports - Morningstar Quicktake Reports provide company information and data, including Morningstar Rating, performance history and risk-adjusted return potential; and

•  Updated website layout - The website’s new layout makes it easy to view on a tablet or notebook. The smart search feature makes it so funds investors can find what they are looking for by generating matching results as they type fund names and key words.
