She has also served as a faculty member for programs sponsored by the American Law Institute/American Bar Association (ALI/ABA), Health Enhancement Research Organization, International Society of Certified Employee Benefit Specialists, Employee Benefits Institute of America and Worldwide Employee Benefits Network. Simon earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana/Champaign and a law degree, with distinction, from the University of Iowa College of Law. She is a member of the Illinois Bar.
