A DWP spokesperson confirmed to PLANSPONSOR Europe: “The Pensions Regulator is responsible for informing employers about automatic enrolment. Automatic enrolment is being phased in over a number of years with the largest employers starting in October, and they have been focusing on the largest employers first. TPR provides information for all employers 12 months and 3 months before they are staged in. “DWP is supporting this work with a wider awareness campaign. “We launched an advertising campaign in press, radio and online in January this year. We'll be adding TV into the mix in September, immediately prior to the launch of automatic enrolment, to make sure our message gets through. We'll also continue using press, radio and online ads. This is in addition to our media partnerships. The budget for the media plan including TV falls within our original campaign budget as confirmed earlier this year. “DWP’s automatic enrolment campaign includes a mix of above-the-line advertising, paid-for media partnerships and no-cost brand partnerships.”
