Dutch Pension Funds Face Implementing Rights Cut

23 May 2012 (PLANSPONSOREurope.com) - More than 100 Dutch pension funds face implementing an average rights cut of 2.2% next year, the Dutch pension regulator has confirmed. 

The regulator conceded that there had been no large deviations between evaluations and submitted evaluations but 103 funds face an average cut of 2.2% next year to return coverage ratios to the legal requirement of 105%.

The regulator adds that 34 funds may need to discount by in excess of 7%.
