Mercer Set to Become Sole Shareholder of REPCA

24 January 2012 (PLANSPONSOREurope.com) – Mercer has signed a definitive agreement to become sole shareholder of French employer health and benefits plan provider REPCA. The Paris-based health and benefits broker will retain principal owners Gilles Zeitoun and Georges-Henri Levy, who will continue to work for the firm, following the transaction.

The deal sees Mercer strengthen its existing position as fourth in share of the French marketplace for private employee benefit plans and second in share of third-party administration of health and benefits plans.
 
The transaction is expected to close in Q1 2012. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
