Where Do you Go for Financial Advice?
Before relocating to Denver earlier this year, Benson served as a senior investment consultant and portfolio manager in Northern Trust’s Boca Raton, Florida, office for five years. Previously, he worked for Wachovia Wealth Management and First National Bank and Trust, where he managed investment portfolios for institutional and high-net-worth individuals and served on several investment policy committees. Benson began his career as an investment research analyst and portfolio risk manager. Benson earned his bachelor’s degree in finance from Florida Atlantic University. While in Florida, he was a member of the CFA Institute, the CFA Society of South Florida, the Financial Planning Association and Leadership Boca. He also volunteers for Habitat for Humanity.
