PPF 7800 Index Aggregate Deficits on Rise

08 May 2012 (PLANSPONSOREurope.com) - The aggregate deficit of the 6,432 schemes in the UK’s PPF 7800 index is estimated to have increased to £216.8bn at the end of April 2012, from £206.2bn at the end of March.

The funding ratio fell from 83.4% to 82.6%.

Total assets were £1031.4bn and total liabilities were £1248.2bn, while 5,228 schemes were in deficit and 1,204 schemes in surplus.
