Women in Pensions Advocacy Group Revamps Online Presence

Women in Pensions Network Board President Amy Glynn, of GRP Advisor Alliance, explains that “isolation is one of the biggest impediments to pension industry career advancement for women.”

The Women in Pensions Network (WIPN), an advocacy organization launched in 2009 to promote the interests of women working in the pension and financial advice fields, unveiled a new website and updated support materials.

The WIPN Board undertook the rebranding effort and website revamp to better serve its members and the industry, the group explains, highlighting a new logo and a new mission statement of “Connections that Count” alongside the redesigned website.

Members of WIPN will further gain access to “fresh communication materials, an updated, no-pressure mentoring program, WiPNConnect, and even more exciting events.”

Women in Pensions Network Board President Amy Glynn, of GRP Advisor Alliance, explains that “isolation is one of the biggest impediments to career advancement for women. Because we lack day-to-day peer interaction and innate mentoring, we must be proactive in networking. Success requires an innovative and inclusive approach.  Our new brand and website better reflects the wonderful energy we have brought to the industry.”
