Tuesday, the Dow fell 9.13 points (0.02%) to close at 38,883.67, the Nasdaq rose 52.68 points (0.32%) to close at 16,306.64 and the S&P 500 rose 7.52 points (0.14%) to close at 5,209.91. The Russell 2000 rose 7.09 points (0.34%) to close at 2,080.80, and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index rose 79.30 points (0.15%) to close at 52,433.21.

The 10-year Treasury increased 27/32, bringing the yield to 4.3697%. The 30-year Treasury bond increased 8/32, bringing the yield to 4.5010%.
