The Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers rose 0.1% in March on a seasonally adjusted basis, after increasing 0.4% in February, the Bureau of Labor Statistics reported. Over the last 12 months, the-all items index increased 5.0% before seasonal adjustment.
Wednesday, the Dow decreased 38.29 points (0.11%) to close at 33,646.50, the Nasdaq decreased 102.54 points (0.85%) to close at 11,929.33 and the S&P 500 decreased 16.99 points (0.41%) to close at 4,091.95. The Russell 2000 decreased 12.90 points (0.72%) to close at 1,773.70 and the Wilshire 5000 decreased 194.20 points (0.48%) to close at 40,445.83.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note increased 2/32, bringing the yield to 3.403%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond decreased 23/32, bringing the yield to 3.631%.
