Monday, the Dow gained 100.71 points (0.30%) to close at 33,987.18, the Nasdaq gained 34.26 points (0.28%) to close at 12,157.72 and the S&P 500 gained 13.68 points (0.33%) to close at 4,151.32. The Russell 2000 gained 21.68 points (1.22%) to close at 1,802.84 and the Wilshire 5000 increased 166.17 points (0.41%) to close at 41,036.41.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note rose 3/32, bringing the yield to 3.606%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond increased 2/32, bringing the yield to 3.814%.
