Tuesday, the Dow fell 11.80 points (0.03%) to close at 41,989.96, the Nasdaq rose 150.60 points (0.87%) to close at 17,449.89 and the S&P 500 rose 21.22 points (0.38%) to close at 5,633.07. The Russell 2000 rose 0.33 points (0.02%) to close at 2,012.24, and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index rose 219.95 points (0.39%) to close at 56,153.34. 

The 10-year Treasury note increased 3/32, bringing the yield to 4.177%. The 30-year Treasury bond increased 30/32, bringing the yield to 4.527%.
