Yesterday, the Dow gained 238.06 points (0.70%) to finish at 34,049.46, the Nasdaq closed 165.56 points (1.29%) higher at 13,004.85, and the S&P 500 increased 24.34 points (0.57%) to 4,296.12. The Russell 2000 was up 13.54 points (0.70%) at 1,954.20, and the Wilshire 5000 climbed 280.87 points (0.66%) to 43,089.59.
The price of the 10-year Treasury note was up 6/32, decreasing its yield to 2.822%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond climbed 1 2/32, bringing its yield down to 2.884%.
