Monday the Dow rose 114.09points (0.28%) to close at 40,227.59, the Nasdaq dropped 16.81 points (0.10%) to close at 17,366.13 and the S&P 500 rose 3.54 points (0.10%) to close at 5,528.75. The Russell 2000 rose 7.93 points (0.41%) to close at 1,965.55, and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index rose 58.57 points (0.11%) to close at 55,151.72.

The 10-year Treasury note increased 2/32, bringing the yield to 4.211%. The 30-year Treasury bond rose 26/32, bringing the yield to 4.687%.
