Tuesday, the Dow recovered 311.78 points (1.21%) to finish at 26,029.52, the NASDAQ closed 107.23 points (1.39%) higher at 7,833.27, and the S&P 5000 increased 37.03 points (1.30%) to 2,881.77. The Russell 2000 was up 14.67 points (0.99%) at 1,502.09, and the Wilshire 5000 gained 365.04 points (1.25%) to finish at 29,578.59. The price of the 10-year Treasury note was down 1/32, increasing its yield to 1.717%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond increased 4/32, bringing its yield down to 2.239%. |
