Tuesday, the Dow fell 267.58 points (0.61%) to close at 43,449.90, the Nasdaq dropped 64.83 points (0.32%) to close at 20,109.06 and the S&P 500 was off 23.47 points (0.39%) to close at 6,050.61. The Russell 2000 dropped 27.91 points (1.18%) to close at 2,334.08, and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index fell 298.00 points (0.49%) to close at 60,824.85.

The 10-year Treasury note was unchanged, bringing the yield to 4.405%. The 30-year Treasury bond rose 1/32, bringing the yield to 4.593%.
