Wednesday, the Dow fell 70.13 points (0.19%) to close at 36,054.43, the Nasdaq fell 83.20 points (0.58%) to close at 14,146.71 and the S&P 500 fell 17.84 points (0.39%) to close at 4,549.34. The Russell 2000 fell 3.99 points (0.22%) to close at 1,852.05, and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index fell 167.83 points (0.36%) to close at 45,854.87.

The 10-year Treasury note rose 27/32, bringing the yield to 4.109%. The 30-year Treasury bond rose 1 27/32, bringing the yield to 4.213%.
