Monday, the Dow gained 174.31 points (0.60%) to finish at 29,276.82, the NASDAQ increased 107.88 points (1.13%) to 9,628.39, and the S&P 500 was up 24.38 points (0.73%) at 3,352.09. The Russell 2000 gained 10.89 points (0.66%) to finish at 1,667.67, and the Wilshire 5000 closed 242.18 points (0.72%) higher at 34,070.16.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note increased 2/32, bringing its yield down to 1.564%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond climbed 4/32, decreasing its yield to 2.030%.
