Wednesday, the Dow fell 225.09 points (0.50%) to close at 44,368.56, the Nasdaq rose 6.10 points (0.03%) to close at 19,649.95 and the S&P 500 fell 16.53 points (0.27%) to close at 6,051.97. The Russell 2000 fell 19.81 points (0.87%) to close at 2,255.89, and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index fell 193.89 points (0.32%) to close at 60,756.57.
The 10-year Treasury note decreased 31/32, bringing the yield to 4.655%. The 30-year Treasury bond decreased 1 27/32, bringing the yield to 4.854%.
