Wednesday, the Dow rose 71.25 points (0.16%) to close at 44,627.59, the Nasdaq rose 14.99 points (0.07%) to close at 20,056.25 and the S&P 500 rose 14.57 points (0.24%) to close at 6,144.15. The Russell 2000 fell 7.90 points (0.34%) to close at 2,282.46, and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index rose 64.96 points (0.11%) to close at 61,616.59.

The 10-year Treasury note increased 2/32, bringing the yield to 4.538%. The 30-year Treasury bond increased 1/32, bringing the yield to 4.775%.
