The Russell 2000 rose 31.79 points (1.41%) to close at 2,290.21, and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index rose 446.55 points (0.74%) to close at 60,741.74.
The 10-year Treasury note increased 4/32, bringing the yield to 4.510%. The 30-year Treasury bond increased 29/32, bringing the yield to 4.749%.
