Tuesday, the Dow gained 186.45 points (0.56%) to close at 33,704.10, the Nasdaq gained 106.98 points (1.01%) to close at 10,742.63 and the S&P 500 gained 27.16 points (0.70%) to close at 3,919.25. The Russell 2000 increased 26.74 points (1.49%) to close at 1,822.65 and the Wilshire 5000 increased 302.17 points (0.78%) to close at 38,950.47.
The price of the 10-year Treasury note increased 3/32, bringing the yield to 3.621%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond increased 3/32, bringing the yield to 3.755%.
