The Russell 2000 rose 2.38 points (0.11%) to close at 2,230.16, and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index dropped 234.57 points (0.40%) to close at 58,970,02.

The 10-year Treasury note was down 3/32, bringing the yield to 4.576%. The 30-year Treasury bond fell 5/32, bringing the yield to 4.785%.
