Wednesday, the Dow was up 11.60 points (0.04%) at 28,734.45, the NASDAQ increased 5.48 points (0.06%) to 9,275.16, and the S&P 500 was down 2.84 points (0.09%) at 3,273.40. The Russell 2000 decreased 9.09 points (0.55%) to 1,649.22, and the Wilshire 5000 closed 35.48 points (0.11%) lower at 33,322.04.
The price of the 10-year Treasury note increased 28/32, bringing its yield down to 1.588%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond climbed 1 29/32, decreasing its yield to 2.041%.
