Monday the Dow rose 374.96 points (0.89%) to close at 42,581.78, the Nasdaq rose 183.56 points (0.94%) to close at 19,630.97 and the S&P rose 57.33 (0.96%) to close at 6,025.17. The Russell 2000 rose 23.42 (1.11%) to close at 2,132.68, and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index rose 560.25 (0.94%) to close at 60,174.43. 

The 10-year Treasury note rose 24/32, bringing the yield to 4.349%. The 30-year Treasury bond rose 3/32, bringing the yield to 4.879%.
