Monday the Dow rose 95.31 points (0.19%) to close at 49,704.47, the Nasdaq rose 27.05 points (0.10%) to close at 26,274.13 and the S&P 500 rose 13.91 points (0.19%) to close at 7,412.84. The Russell 2000 rose 9.43 points (0.33%) to close at 2,870.64.

The 10‑year Treasury note dropped 26/32, bringing the yield to 4.413%. The 30‑year Treasury bond fell 30/32, bringing the yield to about 4.989%
