Monday, the Dow fell 81.33 points (0.21%) to close at 39,431.51, the Nasdaq rose 47.37 points (0.29%) to close at 16,388.24 and the S&P 500 fell 1.26 points (0.02%) to close at 5,221.42. The Russell 2000 rose 2.35 points (0.11%) to close at 2,062.12, and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index fell 10.18 points (0.019%) to close at 52,458.11.

The 10-year Treasury note rose 22/32, bringing the yield to 4.493%. The 30-year Treasury bond rose 1/32, bringing the yield to 4.637%.
