Wednesday, the Dow lost 221.36 points (0.87%) to finish at 25,126.41, the NASDAQ decreased 60.04 points (0.79%) to 7,547.31, and the S&P 500 was down 19.37 points (0.69%) at 2,783.02. The Russell 2000 fell 14.07 points (0.94%) to 1,489.95, and the Wilshire 5000 closed 208.43 points (0.72%) lower at 28,710.50.

 

The price of the 10-year Treasury note was virtually unchanged, with its yield at 2.262%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond was up 2/32, decreasing its yield to 2.693%.
