MARKET MIRROR Friday, the Dow rose 365.62 points (0.86%) to close at 42,819.62, the Nasdaq rose 74.14  points (0.41%) to close at 18,356.19 and the S&P 500 was higher by 33.32 points (0.58%) to close at 5,813.37. The Russell 2000 rose 40.30 points (1.84%) to close at 2,228.72, and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index rose 443.23 points (0.77%) to close at 58,213.07. The 10-year Treasury note dropped 3/32, bringing the yield to 4.099%. The 30-year Treasury bond fell 6/32, bringing the yield to 4.407%. In the week ending October 4, the Dow rose 1.10%, the Nasdaq rose 1.20% and the S&P 500 gained 1.08%. The Russell 2000 rose 0.72%, and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index finished 1.17% higher.
