Monday, the Dow fell 344.31 points (0.80%) to close at 42,931.60, the Nasdaq rose 50.45 points (0.27%) to close at 18,540.01 and the S&P 500 fell 10.69 points (0.18%) to close at 5,853.98. The Russell 2000 fell 36.38 points (1.60%) to close at 2,239.71, and the FT Wilshire 5000 Index fell 184.82 points (0.31%) to close at 58,578.57.

The 10-year Treasury note decreased 33/32, bringing the yield to 4.206%. The 30-year Treasury bond decreased 1 29/32, bringing the yield to 4.504%.
