Monday, the Dow rose 197.26 points (0.64%) to close at 31,019.68, the Nasdaq increased 86.82 points (0.76%) to end trading at 11,535.02 and the S&P 500 added 26.56 points (0.69%) to settle at 3,899.89. The Russell 2000 rose 14.65 (0.81%) to finish at 1,812.84 and the Wilshire 5000 added 271.77 points (0.70%) to close at 39,022.23.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note decreased 25/32 bringing the yield up to 3.490%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond rose 1/32 bringing the yield to 3.518%.
