The Russell 2000 closed 4.47 points (0.20%) lower at 2,225.31, and the Wilshire 5000 was up 18.30 points (0.04%) at 45,332.12.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note was up 2/32, decreasing its yield to 1.524%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond increased 4/32, bringing its yield down to 2.070%.
