Monday, the Dow sagged 329.60 points (1.11%) to close at 29,260.81, the Nasdaq dwindled 65.00 points (0.60%) to reach 10,802.922 and the S&P 500 was down 39.19 points (1.03%) to close at 3,655.04. The Russell 2000 slipped 23.71 points (1.41%) to end trading at 1,655.88 and the Wilshire 5000 lost 378.92 points (1.03%) to close at 36,408.29.

The price of the 10-year Treasury note decreased 1 30/32, bringing the yield up to 3.923%. The price of the 30-year Treasury bond decreased 2 2/32, bringing the yield up to 3.745%.
