Hoffman Begins Term As ASPA President

November 12, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Craig Hoffman, vice president and general counsel of SunGard Corbel has begun his one-year term as president of the American Society of Pension Actuaries (ASPA).

A member since 1991, Hoffman has served as a member of the Board of Directors and as Co-Chair of the ASPA Government Affairs Committee. He has served as president-elect of the ASPA since November 1.

Hoffman joined SunGard Corbel in 1985. In addition to his current duties as vice president and general counsel, he is currently the chief moderator at SunGard Corbel’s Advanced Pension Conferences. He also lectures at SunGard Corbel-sponsored seminars and employee benefits industry conferences, and serves on the editorial boards of two pension industry publications.

Prior to joining SunGard Corbel in 1985, he was in private practice specializing in taxation, ERISA and employee benefits.

Mr. Hoffman is a graduate of the University of Florida, where he earned his undergraduate, J.D. and LL.M. degrees.
