PWBA Opens Participant Office

December 19, 2000 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Participants now have a special voice for their benefits concerns, the newly created Office of Participant Assistance and Communications.

The Department of Labor’s Pension Welfare and Benefits Administration (PWBA) formed the office to provide broad-based outreach and assistance for the millions of workers covered by private-sector pension and health benefit plans.

The office supercedes the Office of Program Services.
