2026 PLANSPONSOR Best in Class DC Plan Provider Standouts

Ten providers were recognized as best-in-class DC plan providers, based on ratings from sponsors of defined contribution plans with assets ranging from micro- to mega-plan markets.

Of those 10, seven providers qualified as 2026 PLANSPONSOR Best in Class DC Plan Provider Standouts, each accumulating the greatest number of service awards. Below, we list the honorees, along with the total number of best-in-class awards each provider received.

“Gold” DC Survey Standouts are the providers who received the highest number of Best in Class service awards in each asset range category; “Silver” standouts are the providers who received the second highest number of Best in Class service awards; and “Bronze” standouts are the providers with the third highest total.

The plan provider service ratings were published in February. Additionally, data from the PLANSPONSOR DC Survey: Plan Benchmarking, both broken down by industry and considered in aggregate, can be viewed here.

The 2026 PLANSPONSOR Best in Class DC Plan Provider Standouts will be honored at the 2026 PLANSPONSOR Excellence in Retirement Awards dinner. This event celebrates the accomplishments of “the best of the best” in the retirement plan industry. This year’s dinner will be part of the 2026 PLANSPONSOR National Conference, to be held at the JW Marriott Nashville, in Nashville, Tennessee, from May 31 through June 3.
