EBSA Updates Web Site with New Preventive Services Rules
August 1, 2011 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - The Department of Labor's Employee Benefits Security Administration has updated its web site with an amendment to the Interim Final Rules on Coverage of Preventive Services under the Affordable Care Act.
Reported by PLANSPONSOR staff
The amendment adds to the Department of Health and Human Services’ previously released rules under the Affordable Care Act a list of women’s preventive services that group health plans must offer without charging a copayment, deductible or coinsurance. These additions were announced by the HHS (see HHS Issues New Guidelines for Women’s Preventive Services).
