Firms Update Employee Health Mgmt. Measurement System
April 1, 2009 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - The Health
Enhancement Research Organization (HERO) and Mercer have
created the new HERO Scorecard Version 3.0, an updated system
allowing employers, and other stakeholders to define employee
health management (EHM) best practices and benchmark
results.
Reported by Fred Schneyer
A news release said the two organizations will operate an EHM benchmarking and best practice normative database.
According to the announcement, the new offering is available to organizations on a complimentary basis and responses are highly confidential.
In 2006, HERO developed and released the Employee Health Management Best Practice Scorecard, a self-administered assessment instrument that helps employers, providers, and other stakeholders define EHM best practice and establish appropriate benchmarks for EHM program results.
