IRS Releases Revamped Retirement Plan Site

October 3, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has revamped the portion of its Web site covering retirement plans.

According to the IRS, the new Web design means users will have an easier time finding information without having to scroll up and down pages searching for the right section.

The Retirement Plan section’s first page covers current retirement issues and new developments, the IRS said.

There are also now new sections dealing with specific retirement services topics that are accessible by a side navigation bar.

For example, the EP Tool Kit now includes forms, publications, guidelines, lists of required modifications, which the IRS says are useful to plan administrators and sponsors.
