Methodology
The 2019 PLANSPONSOR 403(b) Market Survey questionnaire was distributed in May 2019 and received 29 responses. This total is a subset of the more than 50 recordkeepers that reported having 403(b) clients as part of our annual Recordkeeping Survey. Respondents reflect common providers of 403(b) recordkeeping services but may exclude specialized providers that focus on niche markets. All data included in the guide is as of December 31, 2017.
