NFP names chief financial officer; former NYC Pensions CIO moves to Neuberger Berman; ICPM names new managing director; and more.
NFP Promotes Caleb Noel to Chief Financial Officer
NFP Corp., an Aon company, promoted Caleb Noel to executive vice president and chief financial officer.
Noel will report to NFP CEO Doug Hammond and Aon’s finance team. He succeeds Brett Schneider, who is now the chief financial officer at Wealthspire, which was created from businesses recently bought from NFP by Madison Dearborn Partners.
“Throughout his successful tenure, [Noel] has developed a deep understanding of our business, sales operations and culture,” Hammond said in a statement. “He is well positioned to develop financial strategies that support our long-term value and scalability as CFO.”
Noel has served in various corporate finance and operational roles during his 23 years with NFP and most recently was senior vice president of finance and operations. He previously served as Scottish Holdings’ vice president of finance and as an investment banking analyst for Prudential Securities, now Wells Fargo.
Former NYC Pensions CIO Steven Meier Named Institutional Vice Chair at Neuberger Berman
Steven Meier, who in October resigned as CIO of the New York City Bureau of Asset Management and deputy comptroller, has joined Neuberger Berman as vice chair, institutional, a newly created role at the $380 billion alternative investment manager.
Meier will work alongside Neuberger’s investment and institutional client teams and join the firm’s asset allocation committee.
“I’m incredibly excited to be bringing all of the knowledge and experience I’ve gathered over my career to this new chapter,” Meier said in a statement. “I look forward to collaborating with my new colleagues to deliver innovative investment capabilities and support to our clients.”
Meier’s previous roles included CIO of the Connecticut Retirement Plans and Trust Fund Management; CIO for global fixed income, currency and cash at State Street Global Advisors; and senior roles at Merrill Lynch, Oppenheimer and Credit Suisse.
ICPM Names New Managing Director, Interim Administration Manager
The International Centre for Pension Management appointed Adrian Troller to the newly created role of managing director. Alex Lemaire was named interim administration manager.
“Adrian will support various ICPM initiatives and operations to strengthen organizational resiliency,” said Sebastien Betermier, the ICPM’s executive director, in a statement. “Alex will provide essential support in anticipation of [Administration Manager] Jimena Buhagiar’s parental leave next year.”
Troller is a senior investment executive with more than 20 years of experience. He most recently served as head of portfolio delivery at NSW Treasury Corp. and also led ICPM’s working group on total portfolio approach in 2025.
Lemaire has several years of experience supporting senior executives, leadership teams and boards, with a focus on governance, organizational coordination and project management.
