A news release said Surprenant will be responsible for sales team leadership, relationship management, and driving revenue and will also contribute to product and service development at the Stamford, Connecticut-based research and consulting firm for capital markets clients.
Surprenant has almost a decade of financial services sales and sales management experience, having worked closely with financial institutions, software and hardware vendors, and professional services firms.
Previously, he was responsible for Aite Group’s business development efforts in the Northeast region of the United States and Canada.
Prior to Aite Group, Surprenant was a Regional Sales Consultant in the Financial Institution Division of Columbia Management Distributors, Inc., where he was part of the team responsible for fund distribution and client management for one of the largest regions in Columbia’s distribution channel.
Surprenant earned an MBA with a Marketing concentration and BS with a Business Information Systems concentration from the University of Massachusetts.
