Mayonnaise is a spread that consists of raw egg yolks, oil, lemon juice or vinegar, and spices.

 

Miracle whip, which debuted during the 1933 World’s Fair in Chicago, is mayonnaise blended with cheaper dressings, more than 20 spices, high-fructose corn syrup, and sugar.
