Nationwide Partners With Annexus for Annuities Strategy
Nationwide, Annexus and Capital Group are partnering to add a new strategy linked to the American Funds Growth Fund of America Class F-3. The addition will make New Heights Select the first fixed indexed annuity to include a strategy linked to an actively managed mutual fund.
Two additional index strategies from Goldman Sachs and S&P Dow Jones Indices will further enhance the product’s growth opportunities.
American Funds Growth Fund of America is an actively managed mutual fund that seeks opportunities in traditional growth stocks as well as cyclical companies and turnaround situations with significant potential for growth of capital. Growth Fund of America distinguishes itself through Capital Group’s distinct multi-manager system, with a team of 12 portfolio managers averaging 26 years of experience.
Additionally, two more indexes are being added to the Nationwide New Heights Select suite: the S&P 500 Distance Stabilizer Index3 and the GS American Funds GFA 15% Index.
Gravie Launches Hybrid Benefit Solution
Gravie, the health benefits company for small and mid-size employers, has launched Edge, a health benefits solution that allows employers to offer both an Individual Coverage Health Reimbursement Arrangement [ICHRA] and level-funded coverage within a single coordinated program.
Edge gives employers the option to match different parts of their workforce with the coverage model that delivers the strongest combination of cost and value.
Deel Rolls Out Deel Retirement for US businesses
Deel, a global payroll and HR company, has released Deel Retirement, which will include retirement plan enrollment, contributions and reconciliation inside the Deel platform.
The first phase of the launch went live in the U.S. on August 25, in partnership with two providers, Human Interest and Basic Capital.
Deel Retirement is intended to facilitate enrollments inside Deel, on the same record as payroll, rather than through a file-based connection between two separate systems.
Deel Retirement gives customers a choice of plans inside the platform. Human Interest has been a longstanding Deel partner and now brings that relationship directly into Deel Retirement. Basic Capital offers additional options such as individual stocks, exchange-traded funds and commodities, for employees who want a more tailored portfolio.
A U.K. rollout is expected in the coming months.
