Monster and Webhire Join Forces

December 16, 2004 (PLANSPONSOR.com) -Monster and Webhire, Inc., have announced the signing of an agreement to provide employers with an integrated solution to attract and hire candidates.

The jointly developed solutions will include product integration, joint training, and co-marketing efforts, according to a press release. The solution is designed with the aim of providing employers with sourcing, selection, and reporting tools.

By offering integrated metrics and reporting capabilities, Webhire customers will be able to demonstrate the effectiveness of Monster as a candidate source, according to the release. In addition to employer benefits, the new joint venture will offer recruiters and candidates the following:

  • Seamless integration of Monster’s TargetReach Job Posting tool with Webhire’s talent management solution, which the companies hope will minimize the time required for recruiters to post jobs and enable near-time processing of opportunities.
  • An integrated online application that will allow a resume posted on one site to automatically be displayed on the other.
  • An enhanced resume search service that allows Monster’s SmartFind Resume Search tool to be integrated with Webhire’s search functionality, which will allow recruiters to quickly and efficiently identify and upload candidates from Monster’s extensive resume database, according to the news release..

Webhire is the first talent management solution provider to join with Monster in order to provide hiring solutions.
