CNA Launches Small Business Medical Benefits Package

April 4, 2003 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - CNA has pulled back the curtain on a new small business medical benefits package.

CNA’s Benefit Value Indemnity for Small Business is a specified-benefit group medical plan that reimburses employees for incurred medical expenses due to sickness or accidental injury.   The product is tailored for small companies that have not offered health insurance.

The plan allows employers to choose daily in-hospital benefit maximums, accident medical deductibles/maximums, and benefits for emergency room visits, office visits, and wellness.   Additional options are available for prescription drug insurance coverage and outpatient diagnostic benefits.
