Mueller to Head IPERS

December 23, 2002 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - Iowa has named Donna Mueller chief executive of the state's Public Employees' Retirement System.

Mueller, who was CEO of the Boston Retirement Board, succeeds a temporary head of IPERS, the pension plan for 320,000 former and current state employees, according to Dow Jones.

The Iowa Public Employees’ Retirement System, or IPERS, has about $14 billion in assets.
