If You Think Work "Stinks"…

According to a new survey of 400 human resource (HR) professionals, nearly a third (31%) had had to speak to an employee because of unpleasant body odor – and the vast majority (83%) said that conversation was “hard” or “incredibly uncomfortable.”
Nearly 8% of the HR pros surveyed said they knew of cases in which people were not hired due to body odor.
Thirty-seven percent of the HR manager respondents rated unpleasant body odor as “bad,” implying that it affected other employees. That compared with just 12% that rated bad breath as, well, “bad.”
