Five Global ETFs Debut on AMEX

November 16, 2001 (PLANSPONSOR.com) - The American Stock Exchange (AMEX) opened trading in five new iShares exchange traded funds (ETF) created by Barclays Global Investors.

The new listings include iShares on the following S&P indices:

  • iShares S&P Global Technology Sector Index Fund
  • iShares S&P Global Telecommunications Sector Index Fund
  • iShares S&P Global Energy Sector Index Fund
  • iShares S&P Global Financials Sector Index Fund
  • iShares S&P Global Healthcare Sector Index Fund.

The AMEX currently lists 116 ETF products. The new additions bring the total number of iShares listed on the AMEX to 76.
